I'm Sh'Tara,
The Crazy Mo-Fo Behind The Camera

Hey there loves!

Sh'Tara Lynn (She/Her)

I love me a damn good adventure, letting my creativity run wild, deep talks with people I love, a free spirit, a gut busting laugh with the people I vibe with, making lasting memories, goofy-ass conspiracy theories , human connection, the great fucking outdoors and being in water (oceans, lakes, rivers, pools). Being in water is where I feel the most grounded.

Woah, woah , woah, I forgot one thing!  A good slice of pizza and sushi deserve to make the list as well. I didn't mean to leave you out babes.

A warning moving forward; I love to use me some vulgar descriptive words...if you know what I mean.

Ever since I was a wee 'lil one, I always loved to do the things that scared me. I loved swinging from the clothes lines, climbing every tree I could, getting my bike to top speeds and trying every new experience that was brought my way. Honorable mention to "talking back to my parents".

Trevor James (He/Him)

As I scooted my way into adulthood, I kept doing the shit that scared me.

Coming out of high school, I moved thousands of miles away to Hawaii to attend college. At the time, moving and being isolated away from my family terrified me. But I didn't want to miss out on the experience, so I did it terrified.

Hawaii offered me an AMAZING adventure. I hiked some stellar trails, cliff jumped and broke my tailbone, had many spontaneous outings with unknown end destinations  and I met some amazing humans.

My time there is often referred to as my "very expensive Hawaiian vacation". But this "vacation" awoke something within me. It was just like that; the outdoorsy spark in me ignited and the want for an wild journey was lit within me.

During my time in college, I learned that I love watching humans do human-ass things.

Consider me an observer; watching the way people interacted with each other, the little nuances of love, the way people pass glances and could communicate sentences without ever speaking words. Body language.

Take my love of creativity, the great outdoors, doing the things that scare the hell outta me and the art of noticing and BAM! I did the one thing that scared me the most; I bet on myself,  followed a dream and started my own business as a photographer.

And wow, does this feed my soul. It's been an absolute dream documenting the important moments in people's lives, being their safe space,  being their friend, getting to see them as they are and letting that shine.

With that, I have taken a vow (hehe, see what I did there) to take those little moments that I see, the big ones and everything in-between, and tell your story.

I met amazing people and made beautiful friendships. It was at this time in my life that the outdoorsy spark and want for an wild journey was lit within me. We hiked, cliff jumped, hopped on buses and got off at random stops to explore where we ended up, and I did sooooo much stargazing.

And wow, does this feed my soul. It's my absolute pleasure to document the important moments in your lives, be your safe space, be your friend, to see you two as you are and let that shine. I vow to always take your

Our Intimate Wedding

Our wedding day was one where we did shit the way we wanted to do it, for sure. At that point in our lives we weren't rolling in the dough, so we planned something simple and fun!

The thought of standing in front of a ton of people and reciting vows felt terrifying to both of us. So we invited our favorite people to the courthouse with us and had a quick and sweet courthouse wedding. Everyone we wanted to be there, was there.

We went out to the Oregon Coast afterwards and spent the weekend hanging out in a huge beach house rental with a handful of family & friends.

The weekend was filled with gut busting laughter, beach bonfires, exploring antique shops, strolls on the beach with our loved ones at all times of the day, sharing tasty meals and swapping all kinds of childhood stories.

Although we would have loved to have done this in a beautiful and tropical destination, we wouldn't have changed any other part of that day!

Why do I do what I do?

There is a reason why elopements and intimate weddings resonate with me so much and why that shit just hits home. I am all about connection, making new friendships and sharing experiences with the beautiful ass people in your inner circle.

Getting to build relationships with the stellar couples that find their way to me and understanding them and what makes them tick is really a huge part of the joy for me. It's about being there to listen to their vision and help them make it come to life.

I do it for the amazing humans out there that are wanting an intentional, fun, meaningful, and adventure filled experience.
