One of my specializations is family photography. It has always held such a special spot in my life as it was my first taste of being a photographer. I am so honored to still have some of those families with me to this day. I will always cherish them because they stayed with me while I was figuring it all out.
Ultimately, that is my goal. I love growing with the families I work with because it creates a comfy, safe space for their children to be themselves around me.

I'll love and accept you in all your "highs" and "lows". Smiles, giggles, frowns, mean mugging, tears, fits and blank stares into nothingness are all part of being a kid. I welcome all the feelings that come along with children and parenthood.

I love me a good adventure, letting my creativity run wild, deep talks with people I love, a gut busting laugh with the people I vibe with, making lasting memories, reading (horror, sci-fi, and thrillers are my favorite), human connection, the great outdoors and grounding myself in bodies of water (oceans, lakes, rivers, pools).
Woah, woah , woah, I forgot some things; a good slice of pizza and sushi deserve to make the list as well.
I also love documenting families as they grow together and the little things that make their connections so strong

Family photoshoots are About
I help families create photoshoot experiences that highlight THEIR family. There will be no "everybody look at the camera" or "say cheese" during your time with me. Sure, I'll get all the big, obvious moments like your kid giving you a massive hug, your giggles after a silly prompt and the siblings all together. But, for me, it's also about all the candid moments, or as I like to call them "the in-between".
The In-Between holds all the little things that make your family so unique. It's that sly look your children exchange before their about to pull a fast one on you; it's the way you watch your partner comfort you child when they need them the most. Every mood, all their "good" and "bad".
It's all about making memories together and making fleeting moments stand still in time.

Sh’Tara is a literal angel and best wedding photographer! She was very responsive and listened to our needs. She was patient with us and she created this space where we could be authentically ourselves. Like there was no wrong way to pose. And she encouraged our goofiness! She was very professional, made sure that we got “the shot” and moved quickly within our tight timeline on the wedding day. Even my guests mentioned how attentive to our needs she was at our wedding. I cannot thank her enough for being my other “bridesmaid” and giving us the gift of her craft. If I could give her 10 stars I would!
